hi people i know tht all of you have a great ecthetic sense i live in a 2 bedroom appt n wanan decorate one of my bedrooms and my living room in japenese styl epls throw in some ideas n links to derive ideas from too i need some serious help so i cud arrange for cheaper things obviously i cant buy xpensive stuff liek most ppl do so plz help me do it myself by staying in limits too it wud b nice if u can help me make my dream come true.....thnx

You're looking to decorate in a Japanese style? Are you talking about the classic "oriental" style, that many of us here in America would picture? Reds, blacks, silks, screens, fans, etc?
If that's the case, then perhaps you want to visit a Chinatown (if there's one near where you live?). You could pick up some items pretty inexpensively there (a silk robe that you could display on a rod hanging from one wall, a painted screen, some fabrics that you could use for curtains, some painted fans to hang on the walls as art, etc).
Are you allowed to paint the walls? If so, it's up to you how bold you want to be with the colors! You could be dramatic, or you could stick with neutrals (beige, white, off-white) and let the accessories do the talking.
