another step flashing question

Do I use any tar sealent when installing step flashing. Between sheathing and flashing?? Between flashing and shingles?? On top of shingles where they meet the flashing at the wall??

Otherwise I think that I have this project figured out!!! Thanks in advance

Tar would be required only if it is a low slope, such as 2:12. In your case, the only place tar might be required is on the bottom of the first step shingle and on the top of the last step shingle.
