BigBuilder,

I'm afraid you will need to provide more info.
It is not possible to provide information on a model without the model number.
Canox makes welders but there are too many to guess at what you have.

If you are able to post a picture somewhere we could take a look at it.

What do you need to know about it by the way?

we are thinking about digging it out of the back and use for a fairly substaintial job. I was curious about parts availability and soforth before
i got to far into. It runs well, welds OK. I have trouble tuning in the heat.
Seems to run really cold or super hot only.
I will work on a picture. Does the serial number provide anything?
Thanks

BigBuilder,

I have no information where the serial number would help.
Canox is a Canadian company and when I went did a search I found that it had been bought out by BOC, British Oxygen company.
This company is buying up a good chunk of the welding supplies and gasses industry according to it's website.

Company website (http://www.bocgases.ca/newsite_eng/index.html)
Company history (http://www.boc.com/investors/financial_history/over_a_century_of_growth.asp)

A lot of the parts you may need could be adapted from other units.
It would be a good idea to have it checked out by a electric shop specializing in welders.
If the place does rewinds in-house, you likely would have found a good place to check it for you.
