EPDM:inverted or warm deck design

Hello,
I am about to put a EPDM roof on my house and like the idea of insulating it. Is an inverted deck or a warm deck better? If I use a warm deck what type of vapour barrier should I use?

I don't know what a "warm deck" or "inverted deck" is. I think you are talking about an IRMA (Inverted Roof Membrane Assembly)or PRMA r(Protected Roof Membrane Assembly) Roof. Both are the same. The waterproof membrane is installed to the roof deck and extruded polystyrene is installed over the membrane. They are available either ballasted with fabric and 1000# of round river rock or with integral paver surface (this for walking decks mostly.ie. DOW LG Board).
