You know that big copper pipe that comes out of the A/C unit about 4 inches, bends 90 degrees and travels outside to the compressor?
Where it comes out of the A/C unit and makes that turn, there appears to be a larger than normal amount of condesation accumlating.
There is some black insulation around it with some black tape. If you give it a squeeze, some water will drop out.
Is this normal?
Why does it seem the condensation is more than what I have experienced in my other houses. In fact, I don't recall any condensation accumlating, but am seeing a lot here.
Any ideas?
