I have a 10 year old Mark 100 Culligan.
It worked fine for about a month when I first got it a couple of month ago but the stopped softening water. I have noticed that the Float/valve assembly that goes in the brine tank works for allowing water to trickle in. I pulled the valve assembly out and blew air threw it. As long as the valve is open air can be blown from the top to the bottom but I cannot suck air from the top. I assume that water should flow both way through here because coming off the unit there is a drain hose and the hose that goes to the brine tank. There are no other hoses or places to put them on the unit.
As has been noted elsewhere in the forums here earlier the company is not big on giving DIY advice with the user guides.
Any suggestions?
TIA
