Hi !
I am new to this Forum but I do belong to a number of firearms related ones.
I am going to put a central air unit in, a friend of mine father in law was in the bussines for years. I can pick up a 3 ton either Carrier or Trane I do not remember. The tin work is bent up a little so they discount them. So far they have put five units in their own homes no problems, this is in the last two years or more.
Right now the unit I can get is also a heat pump which is fine. I understand the basics of it, but I have a propane furnace can I use a unit like this with the heating system I have ?? I can buy this unit for $ 786.00 complete all I might need to buy is extra wire. Or am I better off waiting for a regular A/C unit only, these I can get for $ 500.00 give or take.
We live in or North of Duluth, MN never had that much hot weather problems.
But the last few years our weather has changed. Seems winters are warmer summers also warmer. Man alters most everything he touches. Oh my propane furnace is forced air.
Any ideas will be much appreciated, and I will also say thank you now because there is a good chance I will forget to later.
Thank You

Depending on fuel costs in your area will give you an idea on which to use. Go here and compair www.warmair.net
I don't know if I'd bother with a heatpump in the area you live. Your winters are long and very cold aint they??
