I've decoupaged some 6x6 ceramic tiles that I'd like to attach to the wall, or if not, attach a wire to the back and then hang them onto the wall. I don't want to use the plate hangers bcz they stick out too much. Any suggestions?

try adhering either the sawtooth hangers or the wire hanger & rings set to the back with liquid nails or hot glue.
