Hi,
I have a 1-2 yr old GE top loading washer model number- WBSE3120B that is giving me problems i cannot solve. The washer keeps stopping in the middle of cycles and has to be restarted. I thought after doing some research in a repair clinic web site that replacing the LID SWITCH would correct the problem. Unfortunately id did not correct it. now not only does it keep stopping durning cycles,it sometimes finishes a rinse cycle then restarts it all by itself. can anyone offer me any advice on solving this problem?. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Don Ruger
Now my wife tells me that this machine is redoing rinse cycles sometimes 2 or 3 times and leaving the clothes pretty wet. does anyone have any ideas whats wrong?

Hello: Don

I'm posting a reply to bring your question back up to the list of current questions. I pesonally do not have an solution to the problem cause.

Retail parts dealers and appliances parts stores can also help determine what the possible problem may be based upon that specific brand and model. Bring the make, model and serial numbers. Dealers and appliances parts stores are listed in the phone book.

Anyone whom may be able to help this member, kindly do so.
Would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Check to see if the water is draining down your stand pipe as its washing. Drain line should be at least as high as your washer tub. Could be siphoning
out & making washer stop agitating until it fills again. If thats not the problem,
I would suspect the timer. Dave
