How can I attach a fabric shade to a metal roller?? Is there some kind of adhesive that would work, or will duct tape work?

Duct tape is perfect. The fabric should be at least 10" longer than the window so that you don't pull the fabric off the roller.

That's great! ....problem is, I've already made the shade -- and it's not 10" longer than the window! 6 or 7 maybe but not 10. :wall:

That should be OK. Just be careful when pulling the shade all the way down.

okay -- thanks. It's up and working! haven't pulled it all the way down yet though - if it does fall off, i don't want to know about it today!!! Maybe tomorrow! but for today -- I've had about enough of the shade thing!

I really think it will be okay too.
