The fan/blower on my air handler quit working. It is installed in the crawlspace on its' side. As I removed the cover water started dripping out. [some of the electrical wires and contacts where wet]. I blew out the drain line and added an extra drain. Once everything was no longer water logged the fan seams to work fine. I am presently letting the air handle dry out [cover off].
My wife has asthma and is concerned about legionaires disease. Do I need to do anything besides dry out the airhandler? Are her concerns valid?
thanks for your help

She don't need to worry about legionella. You're doing the right thing. If it makes her feel any better spray it down some with some disinfectant but you should be fine.
