Glue for paper mounted glas tiles

What kind of glue should I use for mosaic glas tiles mounted on paper.
The mosaic glas tiles are mounted on a thin sheet of paper, and I want to place them on a painted surface. Can I use regluar tile glue?

I've never installed glass tiles, but I know what you're talking about. I know you have to use a special white thin set, AND you have to do something to prevent trowel marks and air pockets in the thin set when you set the tiles, but I can't remember what.

Any place that sells glass tiles should be able to tell you good ways to avoid air pockets in the thin set behind the tile. They should also sell the white thin set too.
