I need to replace the timer, but can't figure out how to take the dial from the selector off. Tks.

If you look closely behind the dial you will see a small plastic clip with a slit on one end. With a small screwdriver or butter knife push on the end with the slit until it clears the shaft of the timer where the center part of the clip is holding it on. You can then pull the knob off. You can put the clip all the way on the knob when you are ready to install it on your new timer. It will spread itself & lock onto the timer shaft without having to do anything else. Dave

There Should Be A Clip Behind Knob.... Pull Out Knob And Look Directly Behind It
