In the past, we've used wonderboard beneath ceramic tiles and then used a thin set mortar to adhere them. This method worked great but the mortar got somewhat between the tiles -- okay, because we then grouted.
We are now trying to find a way to set granite tiles on a countertop with the thinnest grout line possible. We're afraid the method we used previously would cause the tiles to be farther apart than we want. Any suggestions?
