Standing seam metal finish look

Recently had a standing seam metal roof put on home. Problem is that the standing seams at edge of roof dont look good at all, slightly gapped and rough. Is this normal for apperance of a standing seam? What can be done to make more attractive if anything?

Not sure just what you have there. But no it should look good. If like a single line stand up kind the tip should fold back like at a 45o. So the end there is closed. If on like a 2X2 seam then the end is caped first.
