Our 3 year old York heat pump fan motor (outside) died on us. How much is reasonable to be charged to replace it? I've been told $600 - that seems high...

Some of those York motors can be expensive.3 years old though are you sure it's not still under parts warranty??

The warrenty for the whole unit was only for a year. Is there usually a separate warrenty for different parts?

I may be wrong but I think York has a 5 year parts warranty.
