I have a 1993 Sony Trinitron KV-27TS27 (Canada) and the picture went to "snow". I still use the TV as a video game monitor for ther kids because it still works on 'video' but I'm wondering if it is worth getting fixed. Regular 4:3 color TV's are pretty cheap these days but if it is a simple problem it might be worth it to have the TV portion of it working again. Thanks!

Many aging Sony's have a problem with deteriorating solder joints in the tuner causing the symptoms that youn describe. It should be a simple fix.
