truck stalling

My 1995, chev. k2500,auto drive is stalling when i shift it from park(idleing)
to drive. sometimes it will stall when i just come to a stop. runs fine otherwise.

Anybody have any ideas where i should start looking for problem?

start with cleaning throtal body and idle motor check computer for codes

thanks for your reply. Will try spray cleaning and if that fails,i'll see if autozone
will check codes.
