We recently lost part of a hedge that gave us privacy. We know that it would take years to plant a new one and wait for it to match the existing hedge and we want privacy back now. So... I was thinking about putting up lattice sheets along the chainlink fence and growing vines on the lattice so it would still be a "living" fence to match the rest of the yard. However, I bought a 4x8' sheet of vinyl lattice and when I leaned it against and wired it to the chainlink the top bent over. Any suggestions? I need to keep this simple as I am not very strong or handy. I need 5 panels of 4x8' lattice to cover the area needed.

you need to frame the lattice to give it strength you can get slotted material at the lumberyard/home improvement outlets made for that purpose
