I'm tiling my kitchen walls with 4 inch square tiles. While I have experience tiling floors, this is my first wall tile job and I'd like to know what to do about electrical outlets since they are now flush with the wall surface. Once the tiles are underneath, how do I reinstall the outlets so they're flush with the tile? Do I just adjust the sockets, or do I need some special thing? Thanks.

Relocate the box so it is farther out.

Home Depot here ( ab Canada) sells electrical extension box, box 2.00. Then you screw it on with accompaning screws, in the same holes as outlet now. But what are you going to use over top of outlet?
Does one use the cheap plastic cover>?
