I'm interested in inexpensively redoing my countertops. The house is l00+ years old and I am slowly but surely redoing it. I'm not yet financially able to redo the entire kitchen/bath, so I hoped for a "face-lift". Any links or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks Stephanie

I have an 80 year old house and redoing my kitchen countertops. One product that I have found that is in between formica and granite/corian cost-wise is Fireslate. It looks like soapstone and was written up in Old House Journal. You can find it at www.fireslate.com. (http://www.fireslate.com.)
