F-350 Wiper motor

When I turn on my wipers, they come on, then slowly slow down until they stop. Next they act like intermitten wipers, which they are not. Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem might be?

check for a bad ground on the wiper motor but it dose sound like the motor may be on its way out
