our backyard concrete patio has a major crack dowwn the entire width of the patio. What's the best way to fix it. also, is it worth patching, or should i just tear it up and pour a new one?

There are now epoxy compounds capable of weld ing and holding a slap together. Call a foundation expert and ask them about it. Its way cheaper. The new epoxy concrete welding is much stronger then the original concrete itself.
