I have a 26" x 18" GE Wall Air Conditioner in my kitchen. Although it's 25 years old & still runs great, I'd like to get a new one. Finding a 26" x 18" Wall Air Conditioner to fit in the same sleeve that's built into the wall now has been a challenge.

Does anyone know where I can purchase one?

The manufacturer of the 26" x 18" A/C is irrelevant. It doesn't have to be GE.

have you found any brands that fit the opening in the wall? My problem is that i have only found one at sears but the BTU capacity is 24,000 and this room is only about 500sq.ft. I read today that its not good to have too much capacity because the unit will cycle on and off too often, i think this is what is happening to me. I replaced one this spring and now i need to replace another one in another room and i don't want to buy the same type but i need the same dimensions.
