Hi, Please help! I have central air, I have a thermometer in the vent, it says the air is coming out of the vent at 53 degrees, it is 84 outside, and the inside temp is 79, the a/c unit has been running all day. why would this be? everything is closed up. I cannot figure it out! please help if you can. Thank You in Advance!!

The temperature in the house is 79º & the air coming out of the vents is 53º?
That is a 26º drop, very high & indicative of lack of air flow. Make sure the air filter is clean & all intakes are open & not blocked. Other problems could be a dirty indoor coil, dirty fan blades, for some reason the fan not running fast enough, or low on refrigerant.
