Metal Lathe

I just purchased my grandparents house that my grandfather built and have been working on updating the house. He used to be a master electrician and would build motors and such for that. Well, he also has a metal lathe in the garage that we have no idea what to do with. This thing is about 4 feet long. I know we would never use it but how do I go about finding someone who could and also what it's value would be?

If its been sitting in the rain it may not be worth much.
