My basement concrete floor was dryloked. It was diluted and sprayed down. However it is not porous and water will bead up when spilled on it. Can I use thinset directly on it? or do I need to skincoat the floor first? Any recommendations would be appreciated.
I can't speak for the drylocked floor, except to say that the thinset will not adhear to slick surfaces well. Better judgement is telling me to tell you to go to the dry loc web site and email them with your problem. No doubt, they have encountered trhe problem before and will have a host of possible solutions.
