Hello,

This is my first time on this forum and I would like to thank everyone in advance,

I have a Lennox central A/C house unit, and when I turn on the cool and/or auto switches on the thermostat the outside unit come on, but no air is coming our of the vents, I notice that the outside plumbing was starting to freeze, and turn if off right away, I went down to the hardware and bought the two TR fuse, and replace them to see if the will fix the problem, but no luck. The outside fan is still coming on, but there is no air flow coming out of the vents. I replace the batteries on the thermostat and the programs looks to be fine. Is there something else i should look for on the outside unit, maybe a hidden reset button or if there a blower of kind in the house or attic that can have a fuse that need to be replace. I really need your help as this is my parents home and they are in the upper 70's and low 80's and I would like for them to be comfortable, living in Palmdale, CA (Desert).

Thank you for taking the time to read this post and if there is any thing you tell us that will help we greatly appreciated .

Best regards,

Stardvd

Dont try and run the unit till you get the inside fan working. You have to go more into the fan inside there. You can try and jump R to G at the tstat and see if the blower comes on. Then on down in the unit and see if its the fan relay?? next with the unit calling for fan give the blower wheel a push and see if it will run then .If so it can just be a capacitor. Now look out when you try this .Filters clean, inside coil clean. You sure the fan dont run inside and not that its iced up in the coil there inside. That could be low on freon. You have a lot of ifs ifs here.

Hello Ed,

The unit was working fine, and the I hit the coll switch on the tstat and it acted like it was coming on, (just like it did when it was working), and then I got no sound or air from the vents, but the outside fan was runing, I turn off right away and could not see anything outside, but did change the Time Relay fuese outside, and replaced the batteris on the tstat. I have not check anything eles inside the house. There is an attic, could there be a inside fan in the attic?,

I really don't know anything about A/C units. But will try to jump the R-G at the tstat like you mention.

thanks.

Hello Ed.

I jumped the R=G and nothing happen, but if I move the switch to the cool and on it does start the outside fan going. I shut it down right away, (just test).

I will try to see if there is a inside fan in the attic amd see if it is free of stuck, the unit is almost new, (new home, about 2 years old). do you know if there is some kind of reset or other fuses I need to look ofr or check?

Thank for your help

You have to work on the inside blower motor. Relay , capacitor or the motor there.
