i have masonite siding that has warped around the nail heads and etc, causing the siding to peel.is there any way of repairing this to making it look better so a person can paint it and it will look decent. ive tried sanding it and that really doesnt seem to be the answer. is there any kind of a filler of anything for a buildup available to patch masonite siding? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Masonite and water don't get along. When it was nailed they probably broke the surface and allowed water to penatrate and deteriate the masonite. Short of replacing it you can patch it with some exterior spackling. When the repair is finished be sure to prime it with an oil base primer.

Believe there is a class-action lawsuit with Masonite that you can become a party of. May be a few yrs before you see anything but never know. Pretty much the same thing as the Louisiana Pacific Corp Lap siding suit, alot of home owners got good bit of money enough to cover vinyl siding.
