Newbie with minimal electrical experience:
I ran a new lead for some under-cabinet xenon lights I'm going to install and ran into an issue (for me). The lead from the panel is 14 guage, 2 wire with a ground. The hot side is black, neutral is white, ground is bare copper.
The electronic transformer for the low-voltage lights has 2 red wires for the incoming power, and two heavier white wires for the outgoing power to the low-voltage lights. I'll be connecting 4 of the xenon pucks to the outgoing side of the transformer and understand that part of the wiring.
Where I'm confused is how to connect the incoming power to the transformer. Since both incoming power wires are red, do I simply connect the black wire to one and the white wire to the other? What do I do with the ground?
Thanks in advance

Hook either red wire to the black, and the other red wire to the white. There should be a ground screw (generally green in color) to hook the ground wire to.

Thanks Cheyenps! I can get to it with some confidence now...
