Howdy-

I've clearly absorbed the fact that it's key to have paint that doesn't set to quickly when you're paiting cabinets (and trying to minimize brush lines, etc).

X-I-M 400 White claims to dry very quickly. They do mention a 'XS Retarder' product to slow drying time. Any opinions on whether or not I should add this to the primer?

On a side note - based on the notes in my other posts, I was able to switch out my oil Proclassic with the waterbourne version.

Only add the retarder if you are having problems with the primer, like brush dragging horribly.

You can apply latex or acrylic over XIM.
