The Questions are
1. Is there any advantages over PT wood for posts and cross braces than cedar other than looks . I am putting up a Cedar fence that is 1x6x6 dogeared pickets that are 1/4 in spaced. I have read to use steel posts but my wife doesnt like the look. I could use postmaster but at 25.00 a piece and I need 34 (pt at 7.50 and cedar @ 18.50)
2. In a year or so do the PT pieces look more like ceder (gray) then when you reseal it?
3. Or would it be better to do it all in PT wood?
4. Would you put the cross braces (2x4) flat or on edge? What would you use to nail them in.
5. Screws or nails for pickets and for cross braces?
Thanks
