hi,
i want to paint over our metal railing and banister which is old and peeling.
what is the process? what kind of paint do we use? :confused:

You need to use an oil base enamel. Sand or scrape all the loose paint, make sure the surface is clean, prime with a rust inhibiting primer if you think you need one and apply 1-2 coats of enamel.
