I want to attach a shed roof to my two story home to cover and exisiting 10'x 10' concrete patio. I would like to do it myself but am at a loss as to where to get a detailed description of how to do this correctly. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

How much time and effort are you willing to spend painting and maintaining it? Repaint every 2 to 5 years? Reroof it every 5 to 20 years? Or put it up and not worry about it for the next 20 to 30 years? Answer that and I will tell you the best way to go.
