will upsizing the tires on my chevy silverado cause my gas mileage to fluctuate? I want to increase the tire size from 245.70.16 to 285.75.16.

it is normal for gas mileage to fluctuate based on different driving conditions and I doubt you would notice any difference from just a slightly taller and wider tire size that you are considering.
