I have applied "SmartSide" Panel Siding on an 8 x 8 shed. The siding has 1/2" wide grooves 8" on center running vertically. I am planning on painting the siding using a roller. Do you have any recommendations on how to paint inside the grooves (other than by hand with a brush!)? Thanks!!!

Use a large nap, 1 1/4" or bigger, and roll it fast to keep it fluffed up.
Or, you could buy one of these (http://minutetools.com/index.html) to hit the grooves first, then come back and roll the facings.

As PWG said use a long nap roller cover. I always slop the paint on the panels making sure everything is covered and then lightly reroll [before it sets up] everything to make it look nice.
