We are installing laminate flooring in our kitchen. Right now we have vinal which we are ripping up. When our house was built and the vinal was put down, they glues the vinal onto the sub-floor. Wondering how to remove the glue so we can put the underlayment down to get a nice even floor.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Leave the vinyl down!!! No use taking it up, unless it is over an additional underlayment, adding height. It is a fine moisture barrier.
A floor sander to remove the adhesive, with play sand spread all over the floor for the adhesive to ball up with so it doesn't become a heated slimmy, sticky mess. Duct tape the soles of your shoes to keep from tracking the adhesive everywhere. Just peel the tape off.
