HI
I'm a new owner and I have a mahogany deck (that's what I was told).
I have no idea how to take care of it, it started to bleach.
Front stairs and deck are the same wood.
Can I get some help?

check out this. Call them and see if they reccomend the stripper or the cleaner,I would use the stripper myself. Never used the spf stuff. Then go with the aussie timber oil. Looks great!!!!

An oxalic acid base cleaner/brightener is the choice for cedar, redwood, mahog., etc.
Not sure what the Cabot brightener is. The Flood deck brightener is oxalic.
Your deck probably needs a pressure washing unless you want to hand scrub
it.
Read the precautionaries when using any deck cleaner.

The Cabot cleaner then brightener works very well
I have used them often with great success
I usually power wash both off, and if it's in bad shape, scrub them in some before powerwashing
The cleaner works well to clean and well for mildew but often the deck is left with an uneven coloring to it that you wouldn't want to stain over
I have more heavy duty products for more tenacious mildew
The brightener brings back the "un-weathered" color, and...well I call it "smooths out" the coloring on the wood over all
I use it mostly on pine (most common around here) but the results on cedar are pretty amazing
I'd call or e-mail Cabot, maybe send them the pics, and see what they recommend about the stripper or cleaner
They are really good about that
I've sent them mold/mildew samples before
They seem to enjoy a challenge
PS fewalt, I always have some Cabot brightener on hand, I'll look on it to see what it is, I don't really know
EDIT: It's oxalic acid
