Does anyone have advice on how to restring the rope system for opening and closing the umbrella? Ours is broken. :(

If the cord is still in the umbrella, you can restring it according to where it is. If it is out of the umbrella, you can guessing will be hit or miss. You might want to shop for similar umbrellas and examine how they are strung.
