My husband and I just installed a one piece tub/shower. We install a Moen one piece faucet and shower head. When we turn on the water it comes out of the spout and the shower head. What have we done wrong. We need some help. Someone please.

If you used cpvc for the piping for the tub/shower valve, this is the problem, the ID of the cpvc restricts the flow causing the water to go both directions.


Directions should of stated using copper piping for the valve itself.


Let us know if this is the case; the problem could also be the pressure balanced cartridge as well.
