Hi
I love my wallborders but the walls around them are in desperate need of repainting. Is there a painters tape that can protect the borders without damaging them? Or does anyone have any other suggestions. Remember I do not want to replace the borders at all.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi -
I just repainted my kitchen, which has a laser cut ivy border that I wanted to keep. I rolled the walls up to about an inch from the border, and then used a small artist's brush to cut in around the border. It took about an hour to cut in for a 10x12 room, and I needed to do a second coat around the border, but it was worth the effort!
If your border has a straight edge adjacent to the surface you want to paint, another trick I use for straight edge borders is to put a wallpaper straight edge on the border, and paint along it. Keep a damp cloth handy, to wipe off any paint on the border. You would also want to keep this handy if you have a laser cut border.
Blessings,
Debbie
