View Full Version : (Foul Odor)...@ My House (Skunk)

WHEEWWW WEEE!!!! I have a serious problem, I think. The other night when we opened the door, we smelt something like a skunk so I told my mom to shut it. Now yesterday, I didn't really smell anything but when I woke up this moring about 2:30, I thought that something was burning or something because it stunk. Well, I called my mom at work and she said that she smelled it too. I thought that it might have been me smelling myself or something but it wasn't. I washed the dishes, changed the trash bags, and even sprayed some bathroom air freshner throughout the house and it still won't go out. Now I am walking throughout the house looking like this :eek: . Help please!!!!

Also, I checked the air conditioner outside and didn't see anything or smell anything. Don't know what it is.

Pretty much got rid of it. Went to xxxxx and someone said to burn insinced candle. I done that and then we sprayed our air filter with Lysol. All better. I'll let you know if it is still working tommorrow.

HVAC system, which brings outdoor air indoors, and openings in structure can provide passage of skunk odor to the indoors. An enzyme digester deodorizer is effective for control of organic odors. Air fresheners and sprays, scented candles, and incense mask odors temporarily but do not eliminate them. Skunk odors will also tend to dissipate as fresh air moves through the home.

Thanks for the help, the odor eventually went away within a day or two. :)
