I have a 48" unit that has a shower curtain since I lived here. I just recently went to buy a shower door to do away with the curtain. however, I just measured the shower and it is 46" at the bottom inside and 47-1/4" at the top. is there away to make this work without redoing, as the shower unit is still nice. does not the inside measurement need to be even all the way up?
I thought it could still work but the glass space would not be even in the middle all the way up, would that look dumb?

beroofed,

Shower doors or in your case, bypass doors would be the most easiet to install but other types of shower doors, like pivot with and end panel could be acquired.

Shower doors are not made to be exact to existing openings. They can be adjusted, but there are limitations. The above units provide examples of this.
Read the sizes they will adjust UP to.

Hope this helps!
