2nd floor bath sink has cold but no hot water

My upstairs bathroom sink has full cold but little to no hot. The tub/shower has both just fine.

I have read to remove something...what and how? FYI the sink has no shut off valves, have to shut off in the basement to the 2nd floor!

Also the same sink drains SLOW! Have to tried to clear it with no success, did remove the trap and it is clean and clear.....any ideas?

The drain will need to be cabled to remove the clog.



You will need to remove the handle and get to the stem on the hot side to see if any wearable parts or debri is causing the restriction.
