Fax without Phone Line?

Is it possible to get fax service via Cable? With Cell Phones so prevalent, some people don't have a land line but they use Cable for Internet access.

efax dot come is one of many , I use their free recsive only service , and have a fax machine for sending over a phone line. they have a premium service that also lets you fax online.

I hav e two free efax numbers and have used them for several years .

do a google serch for efax or for free fax and you will find lots available

I'm not sure it's what you mean but I have a dedicated fax line over my cable internet connection

It's basically a phone line over the internet that has it's own dedicated phone number and is always on with a fax machine on my end
I can fax any # in the US @ no charge (over the monthly fee) and overseas at extremely low rates
Not sure that's what you meant but it certainly is a fax w/o a phone line

That is what I was looking for. Personally, I have something similar with DSL but that's actually a phone line. My daughter doesn't have a phone line but does have cable so I guess she needs to get in touch with her cable company to see about a fax connection.

I use Vonage for the phone lines
I am extremely happy with them
I have two business phone lines, one of which is a dedicated fax line
I'm sure one fax line would be very reasonable with them
It might be worth taking a look and seeing if they have something that suits her needs
