I would like to hang something in front of my french doors - but I do not want to drill into the walls or the doors. I considered how I could possibly use magnets (metal doors) or suction cups to hold the window treatment over the window portion. Any suggestions for non-permanent changes in order to hang some kind of window treatment?

if the doors are metal, there are magnetic curtain rods. i've never seen a rod with suction cups.

another option would be a fabric door panel like these (http://www2.jcpenney.com/jcp/ProductsHOM.aspx?DeptID=25437&CatID=28605&CatTyp=DEP&ItemTyp=G&GrpTyp=PRD&ItemID=0cb17da&ProdSeq=1&Cat=door+panels&Dep=Window&PCat=Decks+%26+Doors&PCatID=28421&RefPage=ProductList&Sale=&ProdCount=24&RecPtr=&ShowMenu=&TTYP=&ShopBy=0&Outfit=) , which attach with adhesive velcro tape.
