I have an AC in my basement that is mounted to the wall where on the other side is a crawlspace with a small screen door to outdoors 10 feet away. The problem is that the intake from the crawlspace is drawing in disgusting mildewy air.
Can anyone think of a remedy?
I was considering building a sofit to a vent to outside....hmm
thanks in advance

If moving the a/c is not an option you'll have to work on getting better circulation under the crawl space. Can you put another access on the other side and install an exaust fan to pull air through it??

-Do you mean an exhaust fan for the crawlspace or the other side of the room?
