Was just wondering what difference there was between a 8mm to a 12mm laminate(besides the size) If i use the 12mm which has a bevelled edge would i need to seal the joints to prevent any water or pet problems from seeping in???
Also....laminate good for staircases??? and where can i find installation tips on that ...Thanks for any advice :)

Each laminate manufacturer tends to have its own very specific installation requirements and moisture warranties. If you need staircase parts, you will want to select a laminate product (either plastic or engineered wood) that also offers staircase parts and all transitional and trim pieces.
