The kiln drying process heats wood to 130 degrees F or hotter. Wood is sterilized during this process. Powder post beetles enter wood either during storage conditions, (garage or outbuilding) or after installation in structure where there is already an infestation.

Never heard of a Bruce "Certification"
Doesn't sound like they taught him anything!!!
He is willing to go over particle board, he should loose his certification! If he really has one.
I wear my certification picture ID badges everytime I meet with a client. So there is no doubt about my certificates.

Can't install over partical board (which looks like glued sawdust) but you can over OSB, which looks like glued pieces of wood. Are you sure you have particalboard?
