Amana Refrigerator Model # SZD20KPE

Ice maker isn't working. Water in door and ice auger do work, but ice maker never produces ice or get water to it.

What I've done so far:
1) Swapped connectors at water solenoid, then using water lever on door was able to get water flowing to the ice maker tray. This proves the solenoid valve is functional.
2) Removed ice maker and inspected wiring harness. Circuit diagram on back of refrigerator show a fuse inline to the icemaker, in the wiring harness between the ice auger unit and the ice maker. I removed the wiring harness, it has been cut and re-spliced. I checked all connections with a meter, all had continuity. I traced them through and it apeared two of the four were swapped, so cut wires at splices and re-configured. I do have 120v on one of the wires goign to the ice maker.
3) Dis-assembled maker, doesn't appear to be any circuits inside that were burned or anything.

So, any other thoughts on what it might be? I'm thinking it's looking like it could be the ice maker. Does the freezer need to be at a certain temperature before the ice maker will function? If so, I'll wait and see what happens...
